19th Century English Garden Bench. Made of wrought iron with grapevine motif and wooden slats, all retaining old textured painted finish. Made in England circa 1880

A Pair of 18th Century Neoclassical Swedish Fauteuils. Each chair has a square back, decorated with a typical Neoclassical vocabulary of relief carving in the form of stylized flowers, trailing husks, and paterae. This carving continues on the graceful down-swept arms ending with acanthus leaves and Greek key. The base of the arm supports and back stiles have carved stop-fluting. The front seat rails and bowed sides are similarly decorated with garlands and laurel leaves resting on delicate leaf-carved and fluted tapering legs. These chairs retain the original water gilded and painted surfaces. Sweden circa 1790. Stamped “PONNET”.

18th Century Louis XVI French Provincial Chaise Longue

Made of golden colored beech with a rectangular back with concave corners and leaf carved finials within a moulded frame, fluted scrolled arms above a bowed seat. The ottoman with a conforming concave end, both parts on stop-fluted tapering legs with carved paterae. Made in southern France circa 1780.

With an oval upholstered backrest carved with stylized laurel leaves surmounted with a central shell motif, the padded armrests on down swept supports carved with acanthus leaves and fluting, the bow fronted seat similarly carved raised on circular tapered fluted legs. France circa 1820.
