Rare 17th Century English Chest on Stand (sold)

Made of cherry and oak retaining old red painted finish. Two short drawers and three long drawers with early half-round molding over stand with a further drawer on trumpet turned legs and “x” stretchers. All retaining the originial “chased” brass hardware. Made in England circa 1680.
