Rare 18th Century French Provincial Plate Rack (sold)

Made of cherrywood and ash with a deep color and rich lustrous patination. Three molded shelves with turned spindles and acorn finials beneath a carved cornice. This decoration is typical of southern Brittany near Rennes circa 1790.
